A special feature of the unity forum this year will be a trip to the Cane Ridge meetinghouse with a special program dealing with the contribution of Barton W. Stone to the restoration movement.... The elders at Bonne Terre have worked out a study and practice session which will give you on the field development for grappling with the forces of sin and evil.... It was my privilege to address the College-Career Group in Saint Louis, Missouri, at a dinner meeting, held at Pietro's Restaurant, March 9, with about 50 present.... Record crowds are expected to attend the North American Christian Convention which will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio, July 9-12.... Dr. William G. Dever, a graduate of Milligan College, is directing the 1968 season of archaeological excavations at Tell Gezer, Israel. He is currently an executive officer of Hebrew Union College in Jerusalem.... My good friend and brother, Toyozo Nakarai, has signed an agreement with Carlton Press, New York, to publish his book, "An Elder's Public Prayers." A former professor of Semitic languages at Butler University, he is now a professor of Old Testament studies at Emmanuel School of Religion.... Another good personal friend of mine, Gerald C. Tiffin, has been appointed Professor of General Education and Dean of Students at San Jose Bible College. He is in the process of completing his doctoral dissertation at Stanford University.... We have been favored with the first issue of Iconoclast, a new monthly to be edited and published by Dean Spurlock, 4712 Catalina Drive, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310. It was my privilege to speak four times and conduct two workshops at the Santa Clara County Sunday School Convention, held in Los Gatos, California. There were about 600 registered for the event which was productive of great interest.... The March edition of Sentinel of Truth contains a translation

of the Ephesian Letter by George Estes. Incidentally, this issue of the paper published by Charles A. Holt, P. 0. Box 8393, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37411, was especially attractive. Why not write for a free sample copy?... I want to commend J. Ervin Waters on the March issue of Outreach, edited at 931 North Blackstone, Fresno, California 93701. The theme of the journal was "Limiting God" and the writers developed their messages in telling fashion. The April edition featured "Blessings in Christ." You are free to write for a sample of the paper.... Carl F. H. Henry will be succeeded as editor of Christianity Today by Dr. Harold Lindsell, an outstanding historian and author.... The Canadian Christian Harbinger was exceptionally good in its March issue. Feature articles by Ed Benoit and Gordon Souder made excellent reading as did the reprint of the address by Enos E. Dowling on "The Authority of Christ." The paper is published at 5 Lavington Drive, Weston (Toronto), Ontario, Canada.... It was my privilege to conduct a study in depth with the Parkview Church of Christ, Fort Wayne, Indiana, on the Letter to the Hebrews. If you are interested you may also secure tapes of the 1967 study which I conducted on "The Holy Spirit in Our Lives Today." I will deliver the address at the College-Career Banquet at the North American Christian Convention, Friday evening, July 12, God willing.... The Preachers Institute at Alberta Christian College, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, will be held May 14-16. It bids fair to be an excellent meeting.... We are indebted for special issue stamps to E. P. C. Hollard in Australia and Ludwig Klinke, Wiesbaden, Germany. Thank you, my brothers!... Gary Ray Wallace, who supports himself by teaching English, history and mathematics at the American School in San Salvador, El Salvador, Central America, personally conducts a correspondence course in Bible Study which has 860 students enrolled. He reports baptizing 49 persons in 44 days.... Nell and I appreciate far more than we can express the contributions sent in by our brothers and sisters to make possible our work of publishing. Every cent of such aid goes into the fund to help mail the paper to college students and others.... Wayne Harris (Denmark), Fausto Salvoni (Italy), Ludwig Klinke (Germany), and Philip Slate (England), joined forces to teach a School of the Bible at Verviers, Belgium, February 26-March 1, with more than fifty in attendance.... The Bible Camp at Macrorie, Saskatchewan, will start on July 28, and among the teachers will be E. P. Benoit, Glen Dods, and D. E. Dunning.... If you have old single copies of MISSION MESSENGER from past years, you will confer a favor by sending them to Brian Altmiller, Box 164, Kingstown, Saint Vincent, West Indies.... Brethren who wish to reproduce anything in MISSION MESSENGER for distribution may feel free to do so without writing for permission. It is not necessary to credit either myself or the paper. If anything I write will serve the cause of the Master, take it and use it to His glory.... As a result of many requests we have decided to bring out a second and revised edition of our book "The Royal Priesthood" sometime within the next year. A great many brethren have been kind enough to say that it represents some of our best writing. We believe you will like the revised edition even more.... We will appreciate it a great deal if you will send a list of subscriptions and thus help us to sound out the message.
