We would remind our readers that at the end of this year all of the issues of the paper will be bound in attractive book form under the title "God's Community." The book will be ready for delivery on March 1, 1969, and you may reserve advance copies now, for payment of $2.49 on delivery.... Plans are being made for the 1969 issue of MISSION MESSENGER to be devoted to the theme of aggressive warfare against the forces of evil in our day under the heading "Commandoes For Christ," and that will become the title for the bound volume next year.... It is obvious from the reading of many of the papers issued by our brethren that a great deal of thought is being given to the sectarian stance into which factional attitudes of the past have driven us. Journals which once occupied most of their space with attacks upon honest and sincere brethren who opposed their peculiar tests of fellowship are now advocating love in spite of differences. This is probably the first time in a century of division that thoughtful men have risen up in all of our parties pleading for a saner view of the body of our Lord. One need not be a prophet to predict that under this more perceptive type of leadership the day will dawn when the hate and animosity in many localities will pass away. We have already lost many years of fruitless contention and we must move with dispatch if we are to influence our generation. While we do not intend to labor the current discussion in our own pages we will not hesitate to wage the fight for peace in the field where our first separation occurred, for we cannot ignore its implications in our day.
