Roman Catholic Bavarian voters overwhelmingly approved doing away with denominational schools in Germany and sending their children to public school.... Wayfull and Helen Jew, who will be working for the Lord in the Orient, are the parents of Jennifer WayAnn, born June 25.... Roy Blizzard and Fount Shults spent five weeks in Israel, during which they worked at several archaeological sites and pursued their studies of the history and language.... We are in receipt of a most interesting letter from Donald E. Perry, in India, in which he calls our attention to a very relevant quote from David Lipscomb, which we will share with you sometime.... The tentative date for the seminar on fellowship at Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, is October 17-20. The third annual discussion of restoration principles and values held on college campuses, was conducted this year at Southeastern Christian College, Winchester, Kentucky. The first meeting was at Bethany College, the second at Milligan College. The forums and discussions this year were reported as very profitable.... In our next issue we expect to repeat our challenge to our brother, Reuel Lemmons, and to the administration of Abilene Christian College, to set up a meaningful dialogue session on the question of fellowship. We have come to the conclusion that only by such public declaration can sufficient pressure be applied to our brethren to get them to face up to the reality of our condition in the restoration movement.... We are deeply grateful to those saints whose help makes it possible for us to keep on in a concerted effort to remove the schisms which trouble us as a people. Without such aid we could not survive, and we are thankful beyond our ability to express.... We want to take time just now to hail the arrival of four new babies to dear friends. Dr. and Mrs. H. Leroy Garrett will fly to Vienna this month to deliver a research paper to the International Congress for Philosophy.... We are working on a revised edition of our book "The Royal Priesthood," as the result of an increased demand that it be issued again. Further announcement will be made in a subsequent issue.... All of the papers for this year will be bound into book form under the title "God's Community," and this fully-indexed cloth bound volume will be ready for delivery next March 1.
