Pennsylvania, will be held October 16-20 and will feature three

rather outstanding.... We regret to chronicle the death in
Tranent, Scotland, of our aged sister, Mrs. Walter Wilson, who
departed this life on May 29, at the age of 89 years. The time we
spent in the Wilson home will never be forgotten.... Brethren in
the Slamannan District of Scotland, met at Motherwell, on
September 21, to discuss the implications of the statement, "The
meek shall inherit the earth." John Wilson, of Slamannan acted as

brothers and sisters in the Mashoko District, in Africa, is
2895.... Don and Karleen Olander, 10521 S. W. 64th Drive,

unique 60 day plan for reading the New Testament.... Elgin
Banting, Macrorie, Saskatchewan, Canada, tells us that 98 signed
the register for the family camp held there this year.... We
regret to report the death of Robert Elberson, who drowned while
attempting to cross a mountain stream, while working with the
Flathead Indian Mission, at St. Ignatius, Montana.... The
September issue of 20th Century Christian, was edited by
Dr. Prentice Meador, Jr., and was devoted to the theme, "The

.... The annual forum on fellowship and unity in Christ, will be

Today reveals that l,124 congregations have removed their
listing from the yearbook of the Disciples
of Christ, in protest against the restructure program and it is
generally conceded that more will do so. This particular issue of
the magazine was interesting on a good many counts.... One of the
most perceptive articles we have read recently is the editorial
by Baxter Loe, entitled "Communication and Unity," which appeared
in Gospel Tidings for August. The journal is published at

a magazine which may shake you out of some of your traditional

agree that it is good news that eighteen million Americans have
stopped smoking cigarettes according to an estimate of the United

journal called "Century of Recovery," has been started by our
