During my stay in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, I
spoke five times in the chapel at Platte Valley Bible College,
conducting a question forum following each session. I also
engaged in a radio interview over Station KOLT, and a television
interview on KSTF-TV, as well as conducting a dialogue session at
Nebraska Western College.... In the Boston area, it was my
privilege to speak at Harvard Divinity School as reported
elsewhere in this issue, and also to conduct house meetings in
the Wellington home in Mattapan; the Edmonds home at Billerica;
the VanVoorhis home at Bedford; and the Hill home in Medfield
(all in Massachusetts). I also spoke to a gathering of ladies in
the Kaplan home at Bedford, and closed with a rally at which I
spoke in the Bedford Junior High School Auditorium. During my
stay I was a guest in the hospitable home of Barry Willbanks and
wife.... April 21-25 found me in a study in depth with brethren
at Paoli, Indiana, where we had nine sessions of Biblical
investigation. During the time I also spoke to the students and
faculty at Northwood Institute, the senior citizens of French
Lick; the Exchange Club at Bedford; and the high school students
at Paoli, Fayetteville, Needmore, Heltonville, Oolitic, and
Orleans. We were able to reach 2500 high school students in these
assemblies. It was a privilege to be with Glen Liston, who
accompanied me to all of these speaking engagements.... Vernon
and Betty Hurst, who live at 217 South Bernard Street, Powell,
Wyoming 82435, are struggling to maintain an effort in which
artificial tests of fellowship will not be allowed to debar the
saints. They have exhausted their financial means as have those
who labor with them and they need your help. We urge you to send

of Mission contained an interview with Elton Trueblood.
You will be interested in his comments about his connections with
brethren in the Churches of Christ.... One of the most
outstanding juvenile crime prevention programs we have ever seen
is being carried on by the Scotts Bluff County Juvenile Advisory
Committee, Gering, Nebraska 69341. The president is my good
friend and brother, James F. Landrum.... Helping Hands,

a book of 38 new songs by Roy Harris, especially adapted for

that several members of the faculty of New Mexico State
University meet weekly for a reading of the gospel records and
epistles, and that Coach Lou Henson opened the first general
faculty meeting with a prayer to the Father.... The congregation
at Indiana, Pennsylvania, sponsored "A Weekend For Christ" with
brethren from several places speaking on topics of contemporary
controversy. The meetings were held April 11-13.... You can

that Matthew Ikeda has been appointed a full time Professor of

Pont," which is French for "to bridge the gap."... Gary Ray
Wallace, who has been laboring effectively in El Salvador, is
moving to San Angelo, Texas in July.... We know of a congregation
(non-instrument) in a Missouri city, which would like to contact
a preaching brother who desires to teach the saints and do

to the elders.... Dr. J. H. Jauncey, of Australia, had an
interesting article on Christian education in the spring number

Culley has been accepted at the American School of Classical
Studies in Athens (Greece) and will work on his Ph.D. program,
starting this fall. He is just finishing his studies in the
University of North Carolina.... Did you read where the pope
said, on April 2, that the existence of the Roman Catholic Church
was now threatened by the "restless, critical, unruly and
demolishing rebellion of priests and laymen?"... If you are
seriously concerned about racial prejudice, poverty and
discrimination, and you want to help overcome these blights
through application of Biblical truth implemented by genuine

It will be my privilege to teach again this year in the Family
Camp, near Outlook and Macrorie, Saskatchewan. We hope to see

letter from our eighty-year-old brother, Joseph H. Adermann, who
lives in Australia.... We think some of you would like to know
that our mailing list continues to grow each month this year and
the paper now is going all over the world. We have long since
passed the goal that we set for 1969..... Harper and Row
Publishers have just brought out a new book by Gary Freeman,
entitled A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Heaven. It
is written in a satirical vein which makes "Voices of Concern"
seem like a soap bubble on the ocean surface. One can almost
identify characters and places in "The True Church" referred to
by Cletus Kinchelow, the mythical Gospel Evangelist.... W. F.
