the T. H. Johnson Memorial Lectures, sponsored hy Manhattan Bible
College, and held at All Faiths Chapel, Kansas State University.
Attendance was excellent. Seminars were held by Dr. William
Updegrove (Science); Dr. Cal Downs (Communications); and Terry
Carlson (Inner-City Work).... Our meetings in Eugene, Oregon
brought an average attendance in excess of 300, and one morning
session produced a capacity attendance. Special meetings were
held at Northwest Christian College and elsewhere. The work was
sponsored by the University Church of Christ.... Bound volumes of
the 1970 Restoration Review, published by Leroy Garrett,

Humanity and the cost per copy is only $3.00.... I was
thrilled to see a story about my good brother, Doug Willis, in
the Color Magazine, of The Sunday Mail (Australia). The
article was titled "Space Age John the Baptist." The item was
sent by Matilda Pohle, of Bundaberg, Queensland.... The January
issue of Integrity had a very timely and well-written
article by Pat Boone, under the heading "Spirit and Intellect."
The editor also wrote on "Concerning Charismata." You can secure

Wyoming 82435, is setting up a forum for the Fourth of July
weekend, to completely study all aspects and every view of the
activity of the Spirit in our lives. The theme is
"A Living God in a Dying World." Men of stature are being invited
to participate. If you plan to vacation in Yellowstone, Grand
Teton, Big Horn, or Glacier National Park, you are

that it will be a great one.... The Milligan College Concert
Choir was selected to sing at the National Prayer Breakfast,
Washington, D.C., February 2.... Dewayne Davenport reports about
100 baptisms since he arrived in Tanzania last May. Dewayne and
Jane have been appointed tutors for the University of Dar es
Salaam in the Institute of Adult Education.... The magazine
Outreach has been spruced up in format under the
editorship of Bennie Cryer. It is published by brethren opposed

Central Christian College of the Bible, Moberly, Missouri.... We
highly commend the article "Neither Jew, Catholic, nor

College.... Charles E. Lucas, Jr., is the new business
manager for Ohio Valley Colleg.... Baker College, a successor to
Magic Valley Christian College, has folded up and closed the
doors.... We are saddened by the report of the passing of
a good friend and brother, Everett R. Noel, Topeka, Kansas,

Retzer, who attends Illinois State University, received the

letter asking for it, and give us your mailing address and the
name of the school where you are enrolled. There is absolutely no
obligation except to read it.... One of the most thoughtful
articles I have read recently is "Pat Boone and the Gift of
Tongues," written
by my brother, Fred W. Smith, Sr., and appearing in the February
issue of The Restoration Herald, 5664 Cheviot Road,
Cincinnati, Ohio 45239.... Pepperdine College has now become
Pepperdine University.... Brethren connected with Toronto
Christian Mission plan to open a European Base of operation in
Vienna this summer.... An excavating team from Hebrew University,
uncovered a stone from the Jewish Temple which was destroyed by
the soldiers of Titus in 70 A.D. This is a major find.... If your
subscription is due to expire this year will you please renew in

brethren at Logan, Kansas, April 5-9.... On the night of April 10
I will be speaking to the annual Youth Meeting at Hartford,

Young People's Association gathering at Yellowgrass,
Saskatchewan, and will remain over to speak in Regina, the
provincial capital, April 18.... April 26-30 I will be in
Phoenix, Arizona for a special forum on fellowship which could
well be the prelude to a great breakthrough of the Spirit in our
generation in the area of fellowship.... May 12-14 I will be
speaking to the Central Ohio Church of Christ Ministers'
