Baker Book House has produced a series of books called "Contemporary Discussion Series" especially adapted for serious study and dialogue groups. Each of the four deals with some of the relevant issues in this now generation.

Facing the Issues 1 deals with such questions as these: Do Heart Transplants Pose Theological Problems?; What If Scientists Create Life?; Therapeutic Abortion: Right or Wrong?; How Much Clothing Can We Take Off?; etc.

Facing the Issues 2 asks: Is It Right to Tax Churches?; Life or Death--Who Decides?; Should We Favor the State of Israel?; What About Divorce and Re-marriage?; Does the Bible Teach the Equality of the Races?; and many others.

Facing the Issues 3 deals with Are Demons Real Today?; Interracial Marriage, is it Good or Bad?; Are "Christian" Funerals Christian?; Where is Space Exploration Taking Us?; Should Science Tamper With Human Genes?; etc.

Facing the Issues 4 is equally good. These 136 page books are only $1.25 each so that every member of a class could secure one. The format is excellent and will furnish you ample material for discussion. We can supply them.

We regret to announce that One Great Chapter, the bound volume for last year, is now out of print. It did not last for six months, and it will not be reprinted, except as brethren reproduce excerpts from it to be used in teaching Romans 8. We are now receiving advance orders for copies of the bound volume for 1972, which will bear the title The Divine Purpose. It will contain all of the issues for this year attractively bound in hard cover, and fully indexed. We suggest that you do not send payment, but just notify us of how many you will want. We will mail them to you and enclose invoice so you can pay upon receipt of the copies you have requested.
