     The family of Sam F. Meyers, who departed this life on May 14, has announced plans to continue publication of The Concerned Christian, the address of which is 2912 W. The Preachers Workshop at Abilene Christian College has been definitely set for January 8-10. I will present my paper on "Fellowship" on Wednesday, January 10.... The annual issue of Christian Mission Today, a 192 page compilation, is now off the press, having been printed by New Life League, Tokyo, Japan. It is filled with thrilling and pertinent material, including a lengthy and effective article by Martin Meyer Rosen, on "How to Witness Simply and Effectively to Jews." Ten young people were immersed at Camp High Hill, near St. Louis, where it was my privilege to be one of the teachers.... Rod Langston is now working with the brethren at Dunn Road Chapel in Saint Louis.... A special issue of Facts for Faith features Edward Fudge dealing with the claim of a Spanish scholar to have found a portion of Mark's Gospel on a fragment of papyrus discovered in one of the Dead Sea Caves. Outstanding speakers from various segments of the restoration movement will be discussing lively issues. A full program will be printed later, but we urge you to plan now to attend.... The congregation at Dunn Road Chapel is planning a great meeting for youth during the Christmas vacation period. It will be open to all high school students.... In our next issue I shall review an editorial by Reuel Lemmons titled "The Music Question," which appeared in Firm Foundation, June 20. I am convinced that the position he takes only serves to perpetuate disunity, rather than to lessen the problem. I intend to tell you why I say this.... We hope that brethren in central Illinois will remember that I am to be with the New Liberty congregation, south and west of Sullivan, in a special series of studies dealing with the Holy Spirit, October 2-6.... I am also scheduled to be at Hobbs, New Mexico, October 16-20; and at Corvallis, Oregon, starting October 30. Further announcement of these meetings will appear later.... Dr. Fred Norris will join the staff at the Institute for the Study of Christian Origins at Tuebingen, Germany. He is eminently qualified for the responsibility.... Dr. Dean E. Walker was presented a Distinguished Service Citation by Milligan College, where he served as president for 17 years.... David Macy, 330 Artemis, San Antonio, Texas 78218, has produced a new book of 228 pages under the title "Powerful Sermon Outlines and Charts." Facts for Faith, which is an excellent work on current apologetics will combine with Gospel Guardian, after January 1, but will be printed in a separate issue which will continue to be edited by Gordon Wilson....
