     I shall be in a series of studies at James River Chapel, south of Springfield, Missouri, June 4-8, with meetings each night and question forums open for discussion each morning. James River Chapel is approximately four miles south of Springfield, on Highway CC, about 1/4 mile east of Highway 110. It was a privilege to converse with some sixty interested saints in Jacksonville, Florida, who gathered in the hospitable home of Tillman and Ellen Cavert on the evening of February 16.... February 20 brought out a capacity crowd at Patoka, Illinois, when I spoke on "The Holy Spirit in Our Day." I was accompanied by Luke and Gladys Perrine.... Several brethren from St. Louis went with me to Gillespie, Illinois, on February 23, when I addressed a large audience on the theme of sharing the message of salvation in Christ to all around us.... The three nights spent with the saints at Columbus, Illinois, produced record crowds despite difficult travel conditions caused by adverse weather. I stayed with Bill and Nadine Maynard, true servants of God. Brother Maynard is superintendent of schools for the area of which Mount Sterling is the center.... More than 400 persons registered for French Lick II, held in the beautiful French Lick Sheraton Hotel under the sponsorship of Challenge Unlimited. Among the many other speakers were Dr. Charles Shedd, of Jekyll Island, Georgia, and Dr. Robert Burns, of Atlanta, Georgia. I delivered three expository messages and conducted two workshops on "The Ekklesia as the Family of God."... So successful was the meeting that another is planned for next year.... Requests for "The Authority Totem" have come in from all over the country. This is a free 8 page reprint which really zeroes in on the problem of division among us. The 265th copy of my book The Royal Priesthood was sent to Herb Marlowe, University of Florida; the 264th to Susan Cutshall, Lewis and Clark College, Oregon; the 263rd to Elbert Newman, Modesto Junior College, California. The book will be mailed free to any college or university student on earth who personally requests it, giving mailing address and name of school where enrolled. The supply is getting limited.... My good brother, Gordon Wilson, had an article "Disagreeing With Brother Ketcherside" in Gospel Guardian, March 1. Gordon filed five points of disagreement. We think you ought to read them. Write to the paper at Box 858, Athens, Alabama 35611.... Incidentally, during March I was written up in eighteen journals which come to my desk. Some of the articles were rather bitter, calling for an all-out attempt to stop my influence. It is interesting that those who cannot unite in Christ are together in their opposition to me. Perhaps this says something about our negative approach.... The Scripture Standard, published by the brethren in Great Britain, is now in its fortieth year, ably edited by Carlton Melling.... It is actually a journal which allows great freedom of thought and expression.... We commend Dean E. Walker, Chancellor of Milligan College, on his two articles, "Adventuring for Christian Unity," recently published in Christian Standard.... There were 8 states and 28 camps represented in the Christian Camp Conference which I addressed in Lincoln, Illinois.... In 1972 the Southern Baptist Convention passed the 12 million mark in membership, first Protestant denomination in the United States to do so. These members gave more than a billion dollars.... More students are taking religious courses in Pennsylvania colleges than ever before in history.... In 1971 South Africa distributed 551,104 Bibles, more than any other country except the United States.... Picketing and protests by young people who accept Jesus as the hope of the world succeeded in closing down most of the live sex shows in the fleshpots of Copenhagen.... Because of the interest in the work of the Holy Spirit, in the Tulsa area, this subject will be studied at length. Approximately one thousand persons registered for the Christian Education Convention, held at Lincoln Christian College, Lincoln, Illinois, at which David Eubanks and myself were the speakers. I also conducted two workshops on journalism.... There were about fifty persons registered for the Sixth Annual Missionary Reunion held at Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. It was my privilege to speak five times and conduct a brief open forum. The meetings were inspirational and helpful and I came away strengthened by the faith of those who labor in another culture.
