the Gospel Advocate, for May 31, 1973, "There is no fear in my heart as to the direction
in which the brotherhood is going as long as we have the Gospel Advocate around." I am
afraid that our brother is correct.... Terry and Alma Overholser are joining the faculty of Ontario
Christian Seminary, and will make a welcome addition to that work.... Paul Benjamin will serve
as director of the recently established National Church Growth Research Center, in Washington,
D. C.... A restoration gallery featuring portraits of men who have made significant contributions
to the restoration movement is now a part of McCall Chapel at Pacific Christian College.... The
June issue of Mission contained articles by Thomas Olbricht, Wayne Willis, and Steven

magazine says that the broadcast messages of Oswald C. J. Hoffmann, speaker on The Lutheran
Hour, from St. Louis, are "the most widely heard sermons on radio."... I commend the perceptive
editorial by Reuel Lemmons, appearing in the June 26 issue of Firm Foundation, under
the title "Reformation in the Wings."... I am saddened to learn of the surgery required on our
brother, Roy Loney, made essential by an intestinal rupture.... The May issue of The
Scripture Standard, published by our brethren in Great Britain, contained an excellent article
by Carlton Melling, the editor, on "The Bible and the Modern World."... Carry De Young, an
atheist leader in Minnesota has announced that atheists are promoting "reason" in 1973 to offset
evangelism of Key 73.... William Wallace, editor of Gospel Guardian, writes in the June
28 issue, "But we, like most other Christians, are unappreciative of ungracious and unjust
journalistic policies, and we think church folks are growing about as weary of hearing of
'Ketchersideism' as a label as most Americans are of 'Watergate' as a scandal."... Truth
Magazine, which is also edited by brethren who identify with Brother Wallace in his
willingness to draw lines of fellowship over support of orphan homes and Herald of Truth, is
carrying a weekly article by our brother, James W. Adams, attacking my views on fellowship. It
would be tragic if these good brethren became tired of
one another.... The Canadian Christian Harbinger for June, carried an article adapted
from ours on "The Name of the Church." This attractive little journal is edited at P.O. Box 413,
Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, by Alan LaRue.... We are thrilled to inform you that we now have
three books which we can supply after previously disappointing some of you. They are:

3-5, I will be in Columbus, Indiana, and October 17-19 at Fairborn, Ohio. We shall keep you

at Oak Hill Chapel, in Saint Louis, took note of our 45th wedding anniversary, with a little party

news of the death of James DeForest Murch, on June 16, at the age of 81 years. His visits in our

Paregien, Stroud, Oklahoma, who recently adopted a little two-year-old girl, Stacy Evelyn. Stan
is editor of the book Thoughts On Unity.... The Hartford Forum which has become
proverbial as a gathering of free people in Christ for a discussion of major issues will be held on
December 27 and 28. The program arrangement has been revised for this year to make this a
mountain-top spiritual experience for all who attend. We will print a complete program later on
and we urge you to watch for it.
