Our February issue broke all mailing records in our history. After the
papers were sent out we received requests for almost two thousand extra copies which we were
unable to supply.... The Christian Writer's Clinic sponsored by Standard Publishing Company,

David Berg, founder of the Children of God is now in hiding somewhere in Europe. He urged the
Children to flee America because Comet Kohoutek would explode and North America would
disappear off the map. He missed it!... Speaker at Dallas Christian College for "High School
Days" was my friend and brother, Ben Alexander. Ben was a spiritualist medium in England and
he is now one of the most powerful voices against witchcraft, astrology and clairvoyance in the
whole country.... The January issue of Mission was something else. Appearing in a
changed format it was one of the neatest jobs I have ever seen. An article titled "Anatomy of
Christian Periodicals" was as interesting and timely as anything I have read lately. This excellent
periodical is published at Box 2822, Abilene, Texas 79604, and is seven dollars per year.... The
most difficult form of writing on earth is satire, but it is the cleverest when done properly. We
have just seen a clever piece of work, a take-off on Truth Magazine, which has been
espousing the cause of debate and direct attack against brethren who differ with its editors. The
interesting piece to which we refer is called Falth Magazine and you can secure a copy

but not too well, as Coil Datchurside. Truth Magazine which was the subject for this

is a weekly.... We regret to report the death of Dr. Don H. Morris, Chancellor of Abilene
Christian College, January 9.... Firm Foundation printed a statement by Don Finto in its
February 5 issue, in which he explained some things with reference to the Belmont congregation
in Nashville. Belmont has been under a little fire because the brethren there will not make a lot
of silly things tests of fellowship.... Would you like to help a foreign person who eagerly wants
to study the word of God? If so, here is your chance. You are needed to grade Bible
Correspondence School papers, and mail them back to foreign students, as well as send Bibles to
them. This is a work for brothers and sisters of all ages who love the souls of men. For details

succeeded this year by the Saint Louis Forum, and will be held at St. Louis Christian College,
December 30, 31. Charles Boatman and W. Carl Ketcherside will preside over the sessions
which will feature some of the real "sticky" questions of this day. Plan to attend it, for if you
miss, you'll deprive yourself of something valuable.... Richard Ewing, former missionary to
Brazil has been selected as the new president of Boise (Idaho) Bible College.... Robert Hartman
who wrote for Mission Messenger while on the staff of the Los Angeles Times,
has been appointed as an aide to Vice President Gerald Ford. Bob is a great journalist.... The
chorus from the Church of Christ at Manor Woods (Maryland) took part in the annual Pageant of
Peace on the Ellipse of the White House.... Remember that this paper is scheduled to cease
publication on December 1, 1975. If you will send two dollars we will put you on for the
duration. If you send additional financial aid the overplus will go to the fund for mailing out free
books to college and university students. We urge you not to let your subscription expire. If there

Through the arrangement of Campus Christian Ministry I made five addresses on the
campus of Indiana University at Bloomington, and also spoke to a breakfast meeting of The
Activists. The themes for the campus discussions were: My View of Humanist Manifesto II;
Christian Commandos on Campus; The Restoration Ideal in an Ecumenical Age; Fellowship and
Endorsement; and A Strategy for Conquest by Penetration of the Culture. Inter-Varsity dismissed
and came to share with us in the last. It was a great time!... October 16-18 I will be at Solsberry,
Indiana in a study in depth. It appears now there will be a great interest. If you want information
