Our April issue again broke all previous records for the number of copies

Ohio just two hours before I was to begin a study there. Instead the meetinghouse was turned
into a rescue and shelter for the homeless. Brother Isaac Flora, who labors with the saints, lost
his home and all that was in it, and several other brethren lost everything.... We encourage you to

rare old soldier of the cross died when Herbert A. Bourne departed to be with the Lord on March
8. He served as dean of men at Johnson Bible College for six years and at St. Louis Christian
College for eight years. I am glad he was my brother.... Minnesota Bible College sponsored
lectures in March by Tibbs Maxey on "Cross-Cultural Evangelism" and in April by James D.
Strauss on "Christian Witness in the 20th Century." These brethren know their themes.... If you

astronaut and eighth man on the moon.... My good friend and 18-year old brother, Skip Bolin,
was undefeated as a wrestler in the 155 pound class this year and tied in the Pennsylvania State
Finals. Skip lives at Lock Haven.... Bernie Crum serves as chaplain of the Mineral Area
Hospital, Farmington, Missouri, while Jack Wheat is in the same capacity at San Juan Hospital,
Farmington, New Mexico. Jack conducts two studies per week for patients who are eager to

Key made the pages of the March 29 issue of Christianity Today. He is the new president
of the National Evangelistic Association for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).... Eleven
churches in Westbrook, Maine, combined their efforts to place 5100 copies of To-
day's English Version (Luke and Acts) in the homes of the city.... The paperback edition of
Good News For Modern Man reached a total circulation of more than 43 million copies
by the end of 1973.... Thomas and Barbara Minton will be returning to Basel, Switzerland soon
to continue their coffee house ministry. This is a terrific work they have going and you can send

it!... By the end of this year the World Home Bible League hopes to have placed a take home
Bible in every motel room in the United States. More than 200,000 copies of Reach Out

read them.... Harold L. Lunger, dean of Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University
suffered a broken neck as the result of an accident on his ranch near Fort Worth, Texas.... Please
