On December 31, Nell sent out the 777th free copy of the book Thoughts on Unity, which we will mail without obligation to any college or university student in the world. You must write a personal request and you must also tell in what school you are enrolled. We hope that you will pass this information on to other students. Simply address your request to MISSION MESSENGER, 139 Signal Hill Drive, St. Louis, Missouri 63121.... All of our readers are invited to send for Book Lists 75-A, 75-B, and 75-C. They will be sent free upon request and contain the names of many recommended volumes.... Please do not forget that this is the final year for MISSION MESSENGER. If you send a dollar we will put you on tor the duration, and if yours is a new subscription we will try and supply you copies of the first two issues for this year. We cannot promise to do that because it is difficult to keep them in stock.... At the conclusion of 1975 all of the papers for this final year will be issued in a beautiful bound volume to be called One in Christ. It will be an important one and we suggest that you reserve yours in advance. An invoice will be sent with the books and you can pay when you receive them. There are already a number on the reserved list and if you want the books for gifts to your friends or relatives, you should probably send for them in advance.... Perhaps you would like to receive 25 copies per month to share with brethren in your congregation. You can write for the special rate which will enable you to share the paper with others who ought to read it.... I have recently taped two of the important messages from my book Christian Commandos. Ratliff, 9729 Calumet Drive, Saint Louis, Missouri 63137. These talks constitute a real analysis of the state of the institutional church.... During the past several months we have lost some dear friends who have meant much to us in years gone by. Among them were M. S. Box 18091, San Antonio, Texas 78218. Why not ask for a sample copy?... Dr. Cal W. Downs is head of Speech Communication and Human Relations at the University of Kansas. The meeting at Westchester Church of Christ, Los Angeles, was a catalyst to bring together representatives from 38 to 51 congregations nightly. While there I spoke to a luncheon group on the campus of Pepperdine University and to an excellent audience at Pacific Christian College. Special singing in the meeting was done by the Good News Christian School Choir, the Westchester Chorus, the Concert Choir of Figueroa Church of Christ, and the Pepperdine A Cappella Chorus. J. Harold Thomas labors with the congregation, which is making a real contribution to the unity of the saints in the area....
