The Saint Louis Forum, successor to the annual Hartford Forum, will be
held this year on Monday and Tuesday, December 29 and 30, at Saint Louis Christian College,
1360 Grandview Drive, Florissant, Missouri 63033. The first meeting will be held on Monday
afternoon, starting at 2:00 p.m., and there will be another meeting that night and three on
Tuesday. Subjects to be discussed this year include: Abortion; The Christian in Politics; The
Relation of God to Modern Israel; and Divorce and Remarriage. A new format will be
introduced in that the Tuesday morning meeting will be absolutely open for brief talks by any of
those in attendance on "What I Believe About Gifts of the Spirit in Our Day." The forum has
always been a meeting of free minds in which brethren can listen to divergent viewpoints
expressed. There has never been an untoward incident. Rooms can be secured in the college
dormitories and meals obtained at the college cafeteria at a very reasonable rate. Motels are in
easy driving distance for those who wish to arrange their own accommodations. Information may
be secured by addressing an enquiry to Charles Boatman at the college address.... On July 4th we
mailed out the 1070th free copy of the book Thoughts on Unity to a college student in
South Africa. This book is free upon request to any college or university student in the world.
The request must be made personally and must mention the school where enrolled. Simply
address a card or letter to MISSION MESSENGER, 139 Signal Hill Drive, Saint Louis, Missouri
63121, and ask for a copy. Tell your friends in universities about this offer. If you are not in
school you may purchase a copy for only $3.95, and it is worth much more than that.... We will
place the final copy of this paper in the mails on December 1, but I will begin writing monthly
for Restoration Review immediately. I will be writing the story of my life in regular
installments but our brother in the Lord, Leroy Garrett, has assured me of sufficient space in
which to tell of my forthcoming meetings. We urge you to send $3.00 for a full two-year
subscription at once. Mail it to Restoration Review, 1201 Windsor Drive, Denton, Texas
76201.... We invite all of you who are interested to write for a free copy of my booklet entitled
Equipping the Saints. If you need more to hand to friends we will send them without
charge.... Perhaps you would also like to ask for our Book Lists 75-D, 75-E, and 75-F. They
contain the names of scores of books which are excellent library material.... All bound copies of
the paper for past years are gone and we are now taking advance orders for the book containing
all of the issues in this final year of publication. Only 2000 copies are being bound and hundreds
are already sold. If you want one or more please notify us and we will send them to you when
ready, with invoice enclosed. The book will be titled One in Christ.... If you would like
to receive the books that I write in the future you can ask to have your name placed on the
permanent list. As soon as a new volume comes from the press you will receive a copy and you
can remit on the basis of the invoice enclosed. This will also make it possible for you to have
revised book lists along with the books I produce.... Nell and I were made sorry by the news of
the death of Clarence Cassell, June 5, in Pomona, California. We have known the family for
many years.... John T. Parish, Jr., is serving as Acting President of Puget Sound College of the

System" which is only 30¢. Send to the publisher and not to us.... You can secure a copy

servant of God as well as a good friend and brother of mine.... We think you ought to get on the
mailing list for Probe, 37 University Crescent, Kingston 6, Jamaica. This sixteen-page
magazine is attractive and wholesome. Just send your name with your request to the brethren....
Intermountain Bible College, 1420 North Twelfth Street, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501,
suffered the loss of composing and printing equipment which it will require almost $5,000 to
replace. The machinery stolen was not all yet free from debt. They would be grateful for those
who believe in the printed ministry to help them.... Did you write for a free introductory and
sample copy of Unleavened Bread, the new journal published at 2884 Victoria Drive,
Grand Junction, Colorado 81501? Michael Hines, the editor, will send you three free issues, and

Oklahoma, has a large collection of back issues of Integrity, Mission, Mission Messenger,
Sentinel of Truth and Restoration Review going back as far as six years. He will
mail them to anyone who will pay the postage on them.... It was a great thrill for me to speak at
the Michigan Christian Convention in Civic Center Memorial Auditorium in Lansing. There was
a great crowd of saints present for the event.... The meetings at South Norfolk Church of Christ,
Norfolk, Virginia; and Fairlane Church of Christ in Amarillo, Texas, were soul-strengthening
events for me, and the brethren helped me more than I helped them.... It was my privilege to
speak to almost a thousand persons in the auditorium at Lewis and Clark College, in Portland,
Oregon. The night before, I delivered two messages to men at Beaverton, Oregon. These are now
on cassettes and can be obtained for $2.50 each by sending to Vernon H. Woods, 2413 Dale
Avenue, Eugene, Oregon 97401. He will enclose with your order a list of more than a hundred
cassettes containing my talks.... My next book will be The Death of the Custodian, a
study of the covenant of grace contrasted with that of law. We are ready to take advance orders
for delivery after the first of the year. If you are on the list to receive all of my future books this
one will be sent automatically.
