Publisher's Note

This book was produced by optically scanning the original publication by the same title which first appeared in 1976 from New Life Books, A Division of Standard Publishing Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. Although it has been reprinted at least once since that time under a different title, it was republished by Cecil Hook in 1992.

While Carl Ketcherside was characteristically an original thinker, The Death of the Custodian takes its place among the most seminal of his works, one which must be digested if we are to understand the significance of his mission and message. Without a doubt, it sets forth the foundation for what could be the most radical reformation of the Christian religion in modern history.

Diversity Press is happy to make this work available at this time--20 years after it's first publication--as an electronic text on the Internet. We do so in the hope that others may be blessed by its message as have we. We encourage the reader to freely download, copy, and distribute this work to the edification of the community of faith and to the glory of God.
