W. T. Moore, ed.
The Living Pulpit of the Christian Church (1868)

ABOUT THE ELECTRONIC EDITION.

The electronic edition of W. T. Moore's The Living Pulpit of the Christian Church: A Series of Discourses, Doctrinal and Practical, from Representative Men among the Disciples of Christ (Cincinnati, OH: R. W. Carroll and Company, 1868) has been produced from a copy of the book held by the Disciple of Christ Historical Society. Thanks to Elaine Philpott for arranging the loan of this book.

The electronic edition differs from the printed text in the following particulars: Pagination in the electronic version has been represented by placing the page number in brackets following the last complete word on the printed page. Greek and Hebrew words have been transliterated and set in boldface italics. In the printed text multiple footnotes are designated by printers' devices (asterisks, daggers, double daggers, section symbol, etc.); in the electronic text, the notes have been sequententially numbered and placed at the end of each sermon file. I have let stand variations and inconsistencies in the author's (or editor's) use of italics, capitalization, punctuation, and spelling in the essay. Emendations are as follows:
