Alexander Campbell, ed.
The Millennial Harbinger, Vol. III (1832)

ABOUT THE ELECTRONIC EDITION.

The electronic edition of The Millennial Harbinger, Vol. III., (Bethany, VA: A. Campbell, 1832) has been produced from a copy of the reprint published by College Press (Joplin, MO: 1976). The electronic edition has been produced from text scanned by Colvil L. Smith (Australia) and formatted by Ernie Stefanik (U. S. A.).

Alexander Campbell's plan for this volume had Extra No. 4 (pp. 337-372) inserted before Issue No. 8 (pp. 373-420), followed by Extra No. 5 (pp. 421-432). The College Press reprint has the sequence as Extra No. 5, Extra No. 4, Issue No. 8. This is probably the result of a binder's error from the original edition.

Pagination in the electronic version has been represented by placing the page number in brackets following the last complete word on the printed page. In the printed text, footnotes are indicated by printer's devices (asterisks, daggers, etc.); in the electronic text, they are treated as sequentially numbered endnotes. Inconsistencies in spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and typography have been retained; however, corrections have been offered for misspellings and other accidental corruptions. Emendations are as follows:
