HIS little book has been written for the friends of Thomas Jefferson Gore and all others who might read it, with the hope that a brief glimpse of a life so pure and so wholly devoted to his Master might help us in "following after God."

      We would have liked to have included many more in the "Appreciations" chapter, but space alone prevented any more being added.

      We are grateful for the help and encouragement given by Mr. Geo. T. Walden, Principal Main and Mr. D. E. Pittman in writing and publishing this little volume.
