REV. Z. T. ALGER.

R EV. Z. T. ALGER was a minister in the Valley of Virginia. He died about the year 1897. At the Central Valley Conference held with the church at Kid Run in 1882, Rev. Z. T. Alger was ordained to the office of Elder by the presbytery consisting of Revs. John A. Barney, J. W. Dofflemyer and John Tamkin.

He was a good and promising man, ardently devoted to the work of the ministry. On account of ill health he was prevented from doing as much as he desired, although he was a true disciple of the divine Master. After a short work of five years, he passed away. His is a short record, but he has his reward. [366]
