REV. N. B. KIRACOFE.
EV. N. B. KIRACOFE was recommended for ordination
at the Valley Conference held at Soliloquy
church in Shenandoah county, Virginia, and was solemnly
set apart to the gospel ministry by the [380]
presbytery, on Sunday, 15th of October, 1872. He was chosen
to preach the annual sermon before the next Conference,
and appointed on the Executive committee. At the
conference at Linville, he was appointed on the committee
on Rules of Order and By-laws. In 1873, he delivered
the annual sermon, and was chosen a delegate to
the General Convention to meet the following May, 1874.
His ministerial career was brief. He was distinguished for his "meekness, piety, and efficiency" as one of the highest examples of christian virtues and usefulness. He was one of the church's most earnest workers.
