Robert H. Boll Lessons on Hebrews, 3rd Edition, Revised (2001) |
Preface to this 1998 Edition, Revised 2001
Only someone whose soul is completely dead could fail to profit from using this book as an aid in the study of the Book of Hebrews. Brother Boll's work is timeless, of deep spiritual insight, yet simply and clearly expressed. Here is a book that addresses themes of tremendous importance, things often sadly lacking in the shallow profession of our day. First, it presents essential foundational doctrine necessary to true New Testament Christianity, something that is all too rare today. Secondly, it is full of essential practical teaching, edification and exhortation, which, if taken to heart, would revive those individuals, those study groups, or those congregations who would utilize this small but tremendous resource.
