The electronic edition of Joseph Thomas's The Life of the Pilgrim, Joseph Thomas, Containing an Accurate Account of His Trials, Travels and Gospel Labours, up to the Present Date (Winchester, VA: J. Foster, Printer, 1817) has been produced from a photocopy of the printed text. Thanks to the Disciples of Christ Historical society for supplying copies of several missing pages.

      Pagination in the electronic version has been represented by placing the page number in brackets following the last complete word on the printed page. Footnotes in the electronic edition have been sequentially numbered and treated as endnotes. This edition is intended to be a verbatim transcription of the printed text, in which accidental corruptions and inconsistencies in spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and typography have been preserved. A critical edition is planned.

      Addenda and corrigenda are earnestly solicited.
