Pennsylvania Work
W. Carl Ketcherside
In company with Darrell Bolin, the editor visited and spoke for the
congregations meeting at Snowshoe, Lock Haven, Linden and Mount Eagle, Pennsylvania,
October 17-23. Excellent audiences were present at all services, and the spirit of cooperation is
being encouraged with excellent results. The new meetinghouse at Lock Haven is well under
way, and will provide good facilities for the brethren there, who are doing much of the
construction work themselves. Most of our time was spent at Mount Eagle, where the group of
saints are ministered to by two good bishops, Raymond Neidigh and Dick McCloskey. The latter
immersed one on the final day of our meeting, when a capacity crowd was present for the last
service. Bro. Bolin is a consecrated and devoted worker, and with his family, is making a real
contribution to the advance of the cause in that section of our land. Those who assist in his
support should be commended for their wisdom in doing so. It is a joy to see brethren dwelling
together in unity, and through this spirit affecting their communities for good.
