     The entire September issue of MISSION MESSENGER will be devoted to a discussion of the basis of our faith. In it I propose to show why the nature of God and man required just such a revelation as that which we call "Christianity." I will examine the laws of evidence, demonstrate that God conformed to these in presentation of testimony, and show why it is impossible to reject the witness of the apostles without rejecting the very basis for all historical fact. I will devote special attention to the virgin birth and miracles. We think that you will want to share our conclusion under three headings entitled: The Universal Message, The Universal Response and The Universal Body. This article is being especially timed to reach all of the young men and women who are returning to college and to offer them what we believe is a rational approach to the Christian faith unmarred by the cruel distortions of the party spirit and the sectarian attitude. Here is a paper you will want to share with scores of your friends in all segments of the religious world. It will be followed in October by another special on the topic "The Ignorance of Wisdom" in which we will demonstrate why the philosophy of the world rejects the Christian message.
