An outstanding meeting which will bring together men from every sector of the restoration movement will be held April 23, 24, 25, at the Indiana State Teacher's Association Building, Indianapolis, Indiana. The meetings will start at 1:30 p.m., April 23, and continue until noon on Saturday, April 25. The vocal music will be directed by Frank Davis. The co-ordinator is John R. Lee, 7264 North Hague Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46256, whose telephone is (317) 849-4038. Here are a few of the confirmed speakers and subjects under the general theme, "The Plea of the New Testament Church for the 1970's."

Richard Laue, "Definitions and Cliches"; W. Carl Ketcherside, "Old Paths and New Freeways"; David Bobo, "Looking for Light in the Scriptures"; W. Carl Ketcherside, "Unity Progress: Internal and External"; Warren Robbins, "Diversified Ministries"; George P. Holt, "The Role of the Negro Christian"; Ronald Osborn, "Changing Forms of Ministry."

David Bobo, "The Role of Fear in Maintaining Division"; Dennis Fulton, "Revelation: Propositional or Personal"; W. Carl Ketcherside, "Simple Trusting Faith"; Kenneth Arnold, "The Servant Church"; W. L. Totty, "Are Error and Sin Always the Same?"; James Smith, "The Role of Colleges and Journals in Perpetuating Division"; Earl West, "History: From Whence to Where?"; W. Carl Ketcherside, "New Directions for Youth: Is The Restoration Plea Still Valid?"

At the time I am writing this, the following speakers were not yet confirmed, although an invitation had been extended to them: George Beasley, "Unity Progress: External and Internal"; A. Dale Fiers, "Christian Involvement in Politics and Social Change"; Mrs. Joseph Smith, "The Role of the Christian Woman."

Even a casual examination of the subjects to be discussed will indicate that this might well become one of the most significant meetings and encounters in many years. The place is appropriate and the time is expedient. We commend the brethren who have the concern to promote this gathering and those who have the courage to participate in it directly as speakers. An increasing number of such meetings will be held in the future but this one may prove to be a giant step forward for those who love the Lord without factional hearts.

The auditorium in the Indiana State Teacher's Association Building will seat hundreds. It is commodious and centrally located. It is a neutral place. Here men can be free in Christ Jesus to speak and to listen. And they can be free to disagree in love. We urge all of our readers to pray about this meeting and to make preparation to attend it if at all possible. The action is toward unity in Christ Jesus our Lord, and we want to see you where the action is. We hope to meet many of God's precious saints in Indianapolis.
