We have good news for those of you who would like to read The Church at the End of the Twentieth Century. This book by Francis A. Schaeffer is now in paperback at only $1.95 per copy. We urge all perceptive students to read this book. And we wish that while you are ordering it that you would also let us send you a copy of his book entitled Genesis in Space and Time for $2.25.

Have you read Our Guilty Silence-- The Church, The Gospel and The World by John R. W. Stott? Despite the fact that Scott writes from the background of Anglicanism, I found much to help me in this book. His comments on jealousy as a real basis for evangelism is indeed worthwhile. God is a jealous God and we must be jealous for him. "Monotheism remains the essential basis for mission." The book is $1.45, and The Baptism and Fulness of the Holy Spirit, by the same author is only 95¢, and you will read it with interest.

I have been thinking recently that those who come to the faith without a background of Biblical teaching must find the Bible a kind of mental maze as they seek to grasp its continuity. Years ago I would read Hurlbut's Story of the Bible, and through it I came to see how the Bible fit together. It is now in paperback for only $1.25, and how would it be to keep a supply of these on hand to pass out to young people and newly-married couples, as well as those who have recently been found by the Shepherd and brought home? Only $1.25.

The greatest book I have ever found for boys and girls between the ages of three and six years is First Steps by Charles Foster. You could do no better service than to present a copy to every little youngster of your acquaintance who says "Please tell me a story." The cost is but 95¢ per copy.

Another 95¢ book is In His Steps, by Charles M. Sheldon. More than twenty million copies of the book have been sold despite the fact that it is a simple story of a preacher and his congregation who started out to live just as they thought Jesus would do. It did not prove to be as easy as it sounds.

Our own bound volume for 1972 is now being mailed. It is The Divine Purpose and it is $2.95 per copy. Send your order to MISSION MESSENGER, 139 Signal Hill Drive, Saint Louis, Missouri 63121. If it totals less than $3.00 please enclose 25¢ additional for postage.
