Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, ecclesiae Thessalonicensium in Deo unto the church of the Thessalonians in Patre nostro et Domino Iesu Christo God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: 1:2 gratia vobis et pax a Deo Patre 2. Grace unto you, and peace, from God nostro et Domino Iesu Christo our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 1:3 gratias agere debemus Deo semper 3. We are bound to thank God always pro vobis fratres ita ut dignum est for you, brethren, as it is meet, quoniam supercrescit fides vestra et because that your faith groweth abundat caritas uniuscuiusque omnium exceedingly, and the charity of every vestrum in invicem one of you all toward each other aboundeth; 1:4 ita ut et nos ipsi in vobis 4.
