J. W. McGarvey's A Series of Fifty-two Bible Lessons was first published by Transylvania Printing and Publishing Company (Lexington, KY: 1874). The electronic edition has been transcribed from a copy of the second edition, published by Guide Printing and Publishing Company (Louisville, KY: 1889). Thanks to the Disciples of Christ Historical Society for providing a loan copy of this book.

      The electronic text was released into the public domain in 1996 as note files for the Online Bible. Archives of the files are available at the Bible Foundation e-Texts Library.
