Now of the things which we have dicuntur talem habemus pontificem qui spoken this is the sum: We have such an consedit in dextera sedis Magnitudinis high priest, who is set on the right in caelis hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; 8:2 sanctorum minister et tabernaculi 2. A minister of the sanctuary, and of veri quod fixit Dominus et non homo the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. 8:3 omnis enim pontifex ad offerenda 3. For every high priest is ordained munera et hostias constituitur unde to offer gifts and sacrifices: necesse est et hunc habere aliquid quod wherefore it is of necessity that this offerat man have somewhat also to offer. 8:4 si ergo esset super terram nec 4. And they shall not teach every man proximum suum et unusquisque fratrem his neighbour, and every man his suum dicens cognosce Dominum quoniam brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all omnes scient me a minore usque ad shall know me, from the least to the maiorem eorum greatest. 8:12 quia propitius ero iniquitatibus 12. For I will be merciful to their eorum et peccatorum illorum iam non unrighteousness, and their sins and memorabor their iniquities will I remember no more. 8:13 dicendo autem novum veteravit 13. In that he saith, A new covenant, prius quod autem antiquatur et senescit he hath made the first old.
