16:1 de collectis autem quae fiunt in 1. Now concerning the collection for
sanctos sicut ordinavi ecclesiis the saints, as I have given order to
Galatiae ita et vos facite the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

16:2 per unam sabbati unusquisque 2. Upon the first day of the week let
vestrum apud se ponat recondens quod ei every one of you lay by him in store,
beneplacuerit ut non cum venero tunc as God hath prospered him, that there
collectae fiant be no gatherings when I come.

16:3 cum autem praesens fuero quos 3. And when I come, whomsoever ye
probaveritis per Epistolas hos mittam shall approve by your letters, them
perferre gratiam vestram in Hierusalem will I send to bring your liberality
                                             unto Jerusalem.

16:4 quod si dignum fuerit ut et ego 4. And if it be meet that I go also,

16:5 veniam autem ad vos cum 5. Now I will come unto you, when I
Macedoniam pertransiero nam Macedoniam shall pass through Macedonia: for I do
pertransibo pass through Macedonia.

16:6 apud vos autem forsitan manebo 6. And it may be that I will abide,
vel etiam hiemabo ut vos me deducatis yea, and winter with you, that ye may
quocumque iero bring me on my journey whithersoever I
                                             go.

16:7 nolo enim vos modo in transitu 7. For I will not see you now by the

16:8 permanebo autem Ephesi usque ad 8. But I will tarry at Ephesus until
pentecosten Pentecost.

16:9 ostium enim mihi apertum est 9. For a great door and effectual is
magnum et evidens et adversarii multi opened unto me, and there are many
                                             adversaries.

16:10 si autem venerit Timotheus 10. Now if Timotheus come, see that he
videte ut sine timore sit apud vos opus may be with you without fear: for he
enim Domini operatur sicut et ego worketh the work of the Lord, as I also
                                             do.

16:11 ne quis ergo illum spernat 11. Let no man therefore despise him:
deducite autem illum in pace ut veniat but conduct him forth in peace, that he
ad me expecto enim illum cum fratribus may come unto me: for I look for him
                                             with the brethren.

16:12 de Apollo autem fratre multum 12. As touching our brother Apollos, I
rogavi eum ut veniret ad vos cum greatly desired him to come unto you
fratribus et utique non fuit voluntas with the brethren: but his will was not
ut nunc veniret veniet autem cum ei at all to come at this time; but he
vacuum fuerit will come when he shall have convenient
                                             time.

16:13 vigilate state in fide viriliter 13. Watch ye, stand fast in the faith,
