And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene et Maria Iacobi et Salome Magdalene, and Mary the mother of emerunt aromata ut venientes unguerent James, and Salome, had bought sweet eum spices, that they might come and anoint him. 16:2 et valde mane una sabbatorum 2. And very early in the morning the veniunt ad monumentum orto iam sole first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. 16:3 et dicebant ad invicem quis 3. And he saith unto them, Be not expavescere Iesum quaeritis Nazarenum affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, crucifixum surrexit non est hic ecce which was crucified: he is risen; he is locus ubi posuerunt eum not here: behold the place where they laid him. 16:7 sed ite et dicite discipulis eius 7. But go your way, tell his disciples et Petro quia praecedit vos in and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilaeam ibi eum videbitis sicut dixit Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he vobis said unto you. 16:8 at illae exeuntes fugerunt de 8. And they went and told it unto the ceteris nec illis crediderunt residue: neither believed they them. 16:14 novissime recumbentibus illis 14. Afterward he appeared unto the undecim apparuit et exprobravit eleven as they sat at meat, and incredulitatem illorum et duritiam upbraided them with their unbelief and cordis quia his qui viderant eum hardness of heart, because they resurrexisse non crediderant believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. 16:15 et dixit eis euntes in mundum 15. And he said unto them, Go ye into universum praedicate evangelium omni all the world, and preach the gospel to creaturae every creature. 16:16 qui crediderit et baptizatus 16. He that believeth and is baptized fuerit salvus erit qui vero non shall be saved; but he that believeth crediderit condemnabitur not shall be damned. 16:17 signa autem eos qui crediderint 17. And these signs shall follow them haec sequentur in nomine meo daemonia that believe; In my name shall they eicient linguis loquentur novis cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 16:18 serpentes tollent et si 18. They shall take up serpents; and mortiferum quid biberint non eos if they drink any deadly thing, it nocebit super aegrotos manus inponent shall not hurt them; they shall lay et bene habebunt hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 16:19 et Dominus quidem postquam 19. So then after the Lord had spoken locutus est eis adsumptus est in caelum unto them, he was received up into et sedit a dextris Dei heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 16:20 illi autem profecti 20. And they went forth, and preached praedicaverunt ubique Domino every where, the Lord working with cooperante et sermonem confirmante them, and confirming the word with sequentibus signis signs following.
