11:1 et datus est mihi calamus similis 1. And there was given me a reed like
virgae dicens surge et metire templum unto a rod: and the angel stood,
Dei et altare et adorantes in eo saying, Rise, and measure the temple of
God, and the altar, and them that
                                             worship therein.

11:2 atrium autem quod est foris 2. But the court which is without the
templum eice foras et ne metieris eum        temple leave out, and measure it not;
quoniam datum est gentibus et civitatem for it is given unto the Gentiles: and
sanctam calcabunt mensibus quadraginta the holy city shall they tread under
duobus foot forty and two months.

11:3 et dabo duobus testibus meis et 3. And I will give power unto my two
prophetabunt diebus mille ducentis witnesses, and they shall prophesy a
sexaginta amicti saccos thousand two hundred and threescore
                                             days, clothed in sackcloth.

11:4 hii sunt duo olivae et duo 4. These are the two olive trees, and
candelabra in conspectu Domini terrae the two candlesticks standing before
stantes the God of the earth.

11:5 et si quis eos voluerit nocere 5. And if any man will hurt them, fire
ignis exiet de ore illorum et devorabit proceedeth out of their mouth, and
inimicos eorum et si quis voluerit eos devoureth their enemies: and if any man
laedere sic oportet eum occidi will hurt them, he must in this manner
                                             be killed.

11:6 hii habent potestatem cludendi 6. These have power to shut heaven,
caelum ne pluat diebus prophetiae that it rain not in the days of their
ipsorum et potestatem habent super prophecy: and have power over waters to
aquas convertendi eas in sanguinem et turn them to blood, and to smite the
percutere terram omni plaga earth with all plagues, as often as
quotienscumque voluerint they will.

11:7 et cum finierint testimonium suum 7. And when they shall have finished
bestia quae ascendit de abysso faciet their testimony, the beast that
adversus illos bellum et vincet eos et ascendeth out of the bottomless pit
occidet illos shall make war against them, and shall
                                             overcome them, and kill them.

11:8 et corpora eorum in plateis 8. And their dead bodies shall lie in
civitatis magnae quae vocatur the street of the great city, which
spiritaliter Sodoma et Aegyptus ubi et spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt,
Dominus eorum crucifixus est where also our Lord was crucified.

11:9 et videbunt de populis et 9. And they of the people and kindreds
tribubus et linguis et gentibus corpora and tongues and nations shall see their
eorum per tres dies et dimidium et dead bodies three days and an half, and
corpora eorum non sinunt poni in shall not suffer their dead bodies to
monumentis be put in graves.

11:10 et inhabitantes terram gaudebunt 10. And they that dwell upon the earth
super illis et iucundabuntur et munera shall rejoice over them, and make
mittent invicem quoniam hii duo merry, and shall send gifts one to
prophetae cruciaverunt eos qui another; because these two prophets
inhabitant super terram tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11:11 et post dies tres et dimidium 11. And after three days and an half
spiritus vitae a Deo intravit in eos et the spirit of life from God entered
steterunt super pedes suos et timor into them, and they stood upon their
magnus cecidit super eos qui viderunt feet; and great fear fell upon them
eos which saw them.

11:12 et audierunt vocem magnam de 12. And they heard a great voice from
caelo dicentem illis ascendite huc et heaven saying unto them, Come up
ascenderunt in caelum in nube et hither. And they ascended up to heaven
viderunt illos inimici eorum in a cloud; and their enemies beheld
                                             them.

11:13 et in illa hora factus est 13. And the same hour was there a
terraemotus magnus et decima pars great earthquake, and the tenth part of
civitatis cecidit et occisi sunt in the city fell, and in the earthquake
terraemotu nomina hominum septem milia were slain of men seven thousand: and
et reliqui in timore sunt missi et the remnant were affrighted, and gave
dederunt gloriam Deo caeli glory to the God of heaven.

11:14 vae secundum abiit ecce vae 14. The second woe is past; and,
tertium veniet cito behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

11:15 et septimus angelus tuba cecinit 15. And the seventh angel sounded; and
et factae sunt voces magnae in caelo there were great voices in heaven,
dicentes factum est regnum huius mundi saying, The kingdoms of this world are
Domini nostri et Christi eius et become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of
regnabit in saecula saeculorum his Christ; and he shall reign for ever
                                             and ever.

11:16 et viginti quattuor seniores qui 16. And the four and twenty elders,
in conspectu Dei sedent in sedibus suis which sat before God on their seats,
ceciderunt in facies suas et fell upon their faces, and worshipped
adoraverunt Deum God,

11:17 dicentes gratias agimus tibi 17. Saying, We give thee thanks, O
Domine Deus omnipotens qui es et qui LORD God Almighty, which art, and wast,
eras quia accepisti virtutem tuam and art to come; because thou hast
magnam et regnasti taken to thee thy great power, and hast
                                             reigned.

11:18 et iratae sunt gentes et advenit 18. And the nations were angry, and
ira tua et tempus mortuorum iudicari et thy wrath is come, and the time of the
reddere mercedem servis tuis prophetis dead, that they should be judged, and
et sanctis et timentibus nomen tuum that thou shouldest give reward unto
pusillis et magnis et exterminandi eos thy servants the prophets, and to the
qui corruperunt terram saints, and them that fear thy name,
small and great; and shouldest destroy
                                             them which destroy the earth.

11:19 et apertum est templum Dei in 19. And the temple of God was opened
caelo et visa est arca testamenti eius in heaven, and there was seen in his
in templo eius et facta sunt fulgora et temple the ark of his testament: and
voces et terraemotus et grando magna there were lightnings, and voices, and
                                             thunderings, and an earthquake, and
                                             great hail.
