15:1 et vidi aliud signum in caelo 1. And I saw another sign in heaven,
magnum et mirabile angelos septem great and marvellous, seven angels
habentes plagas septem novissimas having the seven last plagues; for in
quoniam in illis consummata est ira Dei them is filled up the wrath of God.
15:2 et vidi tamquam mare vitreum 2. And I saw as it were a sea of glass
mixtum igne et eos qui vicerunt bestiam mingled with fire: and them that had
et imaginem illius et numerum nominis gotten the victory over the beast, and
eius stantes supra mare vitreum over his image, and over his mark, and
habentes citharas Dei over the number of his name, stand on
the sea of glass, having the harps of
God.
15:3 et cantant canticum Mosi servi 3. And they sing the song of Moses the
Dei et canticum agni dicentes magna et servant of God, and the song of the
mirabilia opera tua Domine Deus Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are
omnipotens iustae et verae viae tuae thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and
rex saeculorum true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
15:4 quis non timebit Domine et 4. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord,
magnificabit nomen tuum quia solus pius and glorify thy name? for thou only art
quoniam omnes gentes venient et holy: for all nations shall come and
adorabunt in conspectu tuo quoniam worship before thee; for thy judgments
iudicia tua manifestata sunt are made manifest.
15:5 et post haec vidi et ecce apertum 5. And after that I looked, and,
est templum tabernaculi testimonii in behold, the temple of the tabernacle of
caelo the testimony in heaven was opened:
15:6 et exierunt septem angeli 6. And the seven angels came out of
habentes septem plagas de templo the temple, having the seven plagues,
vestiti lapide mundo candido et clothed in pure and white linen, and
praecincti circa pectora zonis aureis having their breasts girded with golden
girdles.
15:7 et unus ex quattuor animalibus 7. And one of the four beasts gave
dedit septem angelis septem fialas unto the seven angels seven golden
aureas plenas iracundiae Dei viventis vials full of the wrath of God, who
in saecula saeculorum liveth for ever and ever.
15:8 et impletum est templum fumo a 8. And the temple was filled with
maiestate Dei et de virtute eius et smoke from the glory of God, and from
nemo poterat introire in templum donec his power; and no man was able to enter
consummarentur septem plagae septem into the temple, till the seven plagues
angelorum of the seven angels were fulfilled.
