And there appeared a great wonder mulier amicta sole et luna sub pedibus in heaven; a woman clothed with the eius et in capite eius corona stellarum sun, and the moon under her feet, and duodecim upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 12:2 et in utero habens et clamat 2. And she being with child cried, parturiens et cruciatur ut pariat travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. 12:3 et visum est aliud signum in 3. And there appeared another wonder caelo et ecce draco magnus rufus habens in heaven; and behold a great red capita septem et cornua decem et in dragon, having seven heads and ten capitibus suis septem diademata horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 12:4 et cauda eius trahebat tertiam 4. And his tail drew the third part of partem stellarum caeli et misit eas in the stars of heaven, and did cast them terram et draco stetit ante mulierem to the earth: and the dragon stood quae erat paritura ut cum peperisset before the woman which was ready to be filium eius devoraret delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. 12:5 et peperit filium masculum qui 5. And she brought forth a man child, recturus erit omnes gentes in virga who was to rule all nations with a rod ferrea et raptus est filius eius ad of iron: and her child was caught up Deum et ad thronum eius unto God, and to his throne. 12:6 et mulier fugit in solitudinem 6. And they overcame him by the blood sanguinem agni et propter verbum of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimonii sui et non dilexerunt animam testimony; and they loved not their suam usque ad mortem lives unto the death. 12:12 propterea laetamini caeli et qui 12. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and habitatis in eis vae terrae et mari ye that dwell in them. Woe to the quia descendit diabolus ad vos habens inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! iram magnam sciens quod modicum tempus for the devil is come down unto you, habet having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. 12:13 et postquam vidit draco quod 13.
