6:1 et vidi quod aperuisset agnus unum 1. And I saw when the Lamb opened one
de septem signaculis et audivi unum de of the seals, and I heard, as it were
quattuor animalibus dicentem tamquam the noise of thunder, one of the four
vocem tonitrui veni beasts saying, Come and see.

6:2 et vidi et ecce equus albus et qui 2. And I saw, and behold a white
sedebat super illum habebat arcum et horse: and he that sat on him had a
data est ei corona et exivit vincens ut bow; and a crown was given unto him:
vinceret and he went forth conquering, and to
                                             conquer.

6:3 et cum aperuisset sigillum 3. And when he had opened the second
secundum audivi secundum animal dicens seal, I heard the second beast say,
veni Come and see.

6:4 et exivit alius equus rufus et qui 4. And there went out another horse
sedebat super illum datum est ei ut that was red: and power was given to
sumeret pacem de terra et ut invicem se him that sat thereon to take peace from
interficiant et datus est illi gladius the earth, and that they should kill
magnus one another: and there was given unto
                                             him a great sword.

6:5 et cum aperuisset sigillum tertium 5. And when he had opened the third
audivi tertium animal dicens veni et seal, I heard the third beast say, Come
vidi et ecce equus niger et qui sedebat and see. And I beheld, and lo a black
super eum habebat stateram in manu sua horse; and he that sat on him had a
pair of balances in his hand.

6:6 et audivi tamquam vocem in medio 6. And I heard a voice in the midst of
quattuor animalium dicentem bilibris the four beasts say, A measure of wheat
tritici denario et tres bilibres hordei for a penny, and three measures of
denario et vinum et oleum ne laeseris barley for a penny; and see thou hurt
not the oil and the wine.

6:7 et cum aperuisset sigillum quartum 7. And when he had opened the fourth
audivi vocem quarti animalis dicentis seal, I heard the voice of the fourth
veni et vidi beast say, Come and see.

6:8 et ecce equus pallidus et qui 8. And I looked, and behold a pale
sedebat desuper nomen illi Mors et horse: and his name that sat on him was
inferus sequebatur eum et data est illi Death, and Hell followed with him. And
potestas super quattuor partes terrae power was given unto them over the
interficere gladio fame et morte et fourth part of the earth, to kill with
bestiis terrae sword, and with hunger, and with death,
and with the beasts of the earth.

6:9 et cum aperuisset quintum sigillum 9. And when he had opened the fifth
vidi subtus altare animas interfectorum seal, I saw under the altar the souls
propter verbum Dei et propter of them that were slain for the word of
testimonium quod habebant God, and for the testimony which they
                                             held:

6:10 et clamabant voce magna dicentes 10. And they cried with a loud voice,
usquequo Domine sanctus et verus non saying, How long, O Lord, holy and
iudicas et vindicas sanguinem nostrum true, dost thou not judge and avenge
de his qui habitant in terra our blood on them that dwell on the
                                             earth?

6:11 et datae sunt illis singulae 11. And white robes were given unto
stolae albae et dictum est illis ut every one of them; and it was said unto
requiescerent tempus adhuc modicum them, that they should rest yet for a
donec impleantur conservi eorum et little season, until their
fratres eorum qui interficiendi sunt fellowservants also and their brethren,
sicut et illi that should be killed as they were,
                                             should be fulfilled.

6:12 et vidi cum aperuisset sigillum 12. And I beheld when he had opened
sextum et terraemotus factus est magnus the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a
et sol factus est niger tamquam saccus great earthquake; and the sun became
cilicinus et luna tota facta est sicut black as sackcloth of hair, and the
sanguis                                      moon became as blood;

6:13 et stellae caeli ceciderunt super 13. And the stars of heaven fell unto
terram sicut ficus mittit grossos suos the earth, even as a fig tree casteth
cum vento magno movetur her untimely figs, when she is shaken
                                             of a mighty wind.

6:14 et caelum recessit sicut liber 14. And the heaven departed as a
involutus et omnis mons et insulae de scroll when it is rolled together; and
locis suis motae sunt every mountain and island were moved
                                             out of their places.

6:15 et reges terrae et principes et 15. And the kings of the earth, and
tribuni et divites et fortes et omnis the great men, and the rich men, and
servus et liber absconderunt se in the chief captains, and the mighty men,
speluncis et petris montium and every bondman, and every free man,
hid themselves in the dens and in the
                                             rocks of the mountains;

6:16 et dicunt montibus et petris 16. And said to the mountains and
cadite super nos et abscondite nos a rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the
facie sedentis super thronum et ab ira face of him that sitteth on the throne,
agni and from the wrath of the Lamb:

6:17 quoniam venit dies magnus irae 17. For the great day of his wrath is
ipsorum et quis poterit stare come; and who shall be able to stand?
