And he saw also a certain poor pauperculam mittentem aera minuta duo widow casting in thither two mites. 21:3 et dixit vere dico vobis quia 3. And he said, Of a truth I say unto vidua haec pauper plus quam omnes misit you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: 21:4 nam omnes hii ex abundanti sibi 4. For all these have of their miserunt in munera Dei haec autem ex eo abundance cast in unto the offerings of quod deest illi omnem victum suum quem God: but she of her penury hath cast in habuit misit all the living that she had. 21:5 et quibusdam dicentibus de templo 5. And as some spake of the temple, quod lapidibus bonis et donis ornatum how it was adorned with goodly stones esset dixit and gifts, he said, 21:6 haec quae videtis venient dies in 6. As for these things which ye quibus non relinquetur lapis super behold, the days will come, in the lapidem qui non destruatur which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 21:7 interrogaverunt autem illum 7. And they asked him, saying, Master, dicentes praeceptor quando haec erunt but when shall these things be? and et quod signum cum fieri incipient what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? 21:8 qui dixit videte ne seducamini 8. And he said, Take heed that ye be multi enim venient in nomine meo not deceived: for many shall come in my dicentes quia ego sum et tempus name, saying, I am Christ; and the time adpropinquavit nolite ergo ire post draweth near: go ye not therefore after illos them. 21:9 cum autem audieritis proelia et 9. Then said he unto them, Nation contra gentem et regnum adversus regnum shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 21:11 terraemotus magni erunt per loca 11. And great earthquakes shall be in et pestilentiae et fames terroresque de divers places, and famines, and caelo et signa magna erunt pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. 21:12 sed ante haec omnia inicient 12. But before all these, they shall vobis manus suas et persequentur lay their hands on you, and persecute tradentes in synagogas et custodias you, delivering you up to the trahentes ad reges et praesides propter synagogues, and into prisons, being nomen meum brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. 21:13 continget autem vobis in 13. And it shall turn to you for a testimonium testimony. 21:14 ponite ergo in cordibus vestris 14. Settle it therefore in your non praemeditari quemadmodum hearts, not to meditate before what ye respondeatis shall answer: 21:15 ego enim dabo vobis os et 15. For I will give you a mouth and sapientiam cui non poterunt resistere wisdom, which all your adversaries et contradicere omnes adversarii vestri shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. 21:16 trademini autem a parentibus et 16. And ye shall be betrayed both by fratribus et cognatis et amicis et parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, morte adficient ex vobis and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. 21:17 et eritis odio omnibus propter 17. And ye shall be hated of all men nomen meum for my name's sake. 21:18 et capillus de capite vestro non 18. But there shall not an hair of peribit your head perish. 21:19 in patientia vestra possidebitis 19. In your patience possess ye your animas vestras souls. 21:20 cum autem videritis circumdari 20. And when ye shall see Jerusalem ab exercitu Hierusalem tunc scitote compassed with armies, then know that quia adpropinquavit desolatio eius the desolation thereof is nigh. 21:21 tunc qui in Iudaea sunt fugiant 21. Then let them which are in Judaea in montes et qui in medio eius flee to the mountains; and let them discedant et qui in regionibus non which are in the midst of it depart intrent in eam out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 21:22 quia dies ultionis hii sunt ut 22. For these be the days of impleantur omnia quae scripta sunt vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 21:23 vae autem praegnatibus et 23. But woe unto them that are with nutrientibus in illis diebus erit enim child, and to them that give suck, in pressura magna supra terram et ira those days! for there shall be great populo huic distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 21:24 et cadent in ore gladii et 24. And they shall fall by the edge of captivi ducentur in omnes gentes et the sword, and shall be led away Hierusalem calcabitur a gentibus donec captive into all nations: and Jerusalem impleantur tempora nationum shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. 21:25 et erunt signa in sole et luna 25. And there shall be signs in the et stellis et in terris pressura sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; gentium prae confusione sonitus maris and upon the earth distress of nations, et fluctuum with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 21:26 arescentibus hominibus prae 26. Men's hearts failing them for timore et expectatione quae fear, and for looking after those supervenient universo orbi nam virtutes things which are coming on the earth: caelorum movebuntur for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 21:27 et tunc videbunt Filium hominis 27. And then shall they see the Son of venientem in nube cum potestate magna man coming in a cloud with power and et maiestate great glory. 21:28 his autem fieri incipientibus 28. And when these things begin to respicite et levate capita vestra come to pass, then look up, and lift up quoniam adpropinquat redemptio vestra your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. 21:29 et dixit illis similitudinem 29. And he spake to them a parable; videte ficulneam et omnes arbores Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 21:30 cum producunt iam ex se fructum 30. When they now shoot forth, ye see scitis quoniam prope est aestas and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 21:31 ita et vos cum videritis haec 31. So likewise ye, when ye see these fieri scitote quoniam prope est regnum things come to pass, know ye that the Dei kingdom of God is nigh at hand. 21:32 amen dico vobis quia non 32. Verily I say unto you, This praeteribit generatio haec donec omnia generation shall not pass away, till fiant all be fulfilled. 21:33 caelum et terra transibunt verba 33. Heaven and earth shall pass away: autem mea non transient but my words shall not pass away. 21:34 adtendite autem vobis ne forte 34. And take heed to yourselves, lest graventur corda vestra in crapula et at any time your hearts be overcharged ebrietate et curis huius vitae et with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and superveniat in vos repentina dies illa cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 21:35 tamquam laqueus enim superveniet 35. For as a snare shall it come on in omnes qui sedent super faciem omnis all them that dwell on the face of the terrae whole earth. 21:36 vigilate itaque omni tempore 36. Watch ye therefore, and pray orantes ut digni habeamini fugere ista always, that ye may be accounted worthy omnia quae futura sunt et stare ante to escape all these things that shall Filium hominis come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. 21:37 erat autem diebus docens in 37. And in the day time he was templo noctibus vero exiens morabatur teaching in the temple; and at night he in monte qui vocatur Oliveti went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives. 21:38 et omnis populus manicabat ad 38.
