10:20 non enim vos estis qui loquimini 20. For it is not ye that speak, but
sed Spiritus Patris vestri qui loquitur the Spirit of your Father which
in vobis speaketh in you.

10:21 tradet autem frater fratrem in 21. And the brother shall deliver up
mortem et pater filium et insurgent the brother to death, and the father
filii in parentes et morte eos adficient the child: and the children shall rise
up against their parents, and cause

finem hic salvus erit endureth to the end shall be saved.

10:23 cum autem persequentur vos in 23. But when they persecute you in
civitate ista fugite in aliam amen enim this city, flee ye into another: for
dico vobis non consummabitis civitates verily I say unto you, Ye shall not

10:24 non est discipulus super 24. The disciple is not above his
magistrum nec servus super dominum suum master, nor the servant above his lord.

10:25 sufficit discipulo ut sit sicut 25. It is enough for the disciple that
magister eius et servus sicut dominus he be as his master, and the servant as
eius si patrem familias Beelzebub his lord. If they have called the

10:26 ne ergo timueritis eos nihil enim 26. Fear them not therefore: for there
opertum quod non revelabitur et is nothing covered, that shall not be
occultum quod non scietur revealed; and hid, that shall not be

10:27 quod dico vobis in tenebris 27. What I tell you in darkness, that

10:28 et nolite timere eos qui occidunt 28. And fear not them which kill the

10:29 nonne duo passeres asse veneunt 29. Are not two sparrows sold for a
et unus ex illis non cadet super terram farthing? and one of them shall not
sine Patre vestro fall on the ground without your Father.

omnes numerati sunt are all numbered.

10:31 nolite ergo timere multis 31. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of

coram Patre meo qui est in caelis before my Father which is in heaven.

10:34 nolite arbitrari quia venerim 34. Think not that I am come to send
mittere pacem in terram non veni pacem peace on earth: I came not to send
mittere sed gladium peace, but a sword.

10:39 qui invenit animam suam perdet 39. He that findeth his life shall
illam et qui perdiderit animam suam lose it: and he that loseth his life
propter me inveniet eam for my sake shall find it.
