In the end of the sabbath, as it lucescit in primam sabbati venit Maria began to dawn toward the first day of Magdalene et altera Maria videre the week, came Mary Magdalene and the sepulchrum other Mary to see the sepulchre. 28:2 et ecce terraemotus factus est 2. And, behold, there was a great magnus angelus enim Domini descendit de earthquake: for the angel of the Lord caelo et accedens revolvit lapidem et descended from heaven, and came and sedebat super eum rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. 28:3 erat autem aspectus eius sicut 3. He is not here: for he is risen, as dixit venite videte locum ubi positus he said. Come, see the place where the erat Dominus Lord lay. 28:7 et cito euntes dicite discipulis 7. Then said Jesus unto them, Be not timere ite nuntiate fratribus meis ut afraid: go tell my brethren that they eant in Galilaeam ibi me videbunt go into Galilee, and there shall they see me. 28:11 quae cum abissent ecce quidam de 11. Now when they were going, behold, custodibus venerunt in civitatem et some of the watch came into the city, nuntiaverunt principibus sacerdotum and shewed unto the chief priests all omnia quae facta fuerant the things that were done. 28:12 et congregati cum senioribus 12. And when they were assembled with consilio accepto pecuniam copiosam the elders, and had taken counsel, they dederunt militibus gave large money unto the soldiers, 28:13 dicentes dicite quia discipuli 13. Saying, Say ye, His disciples came eius nocte venerunt et furati sunt eum by night, and stole him away while we nobis dormientibus slept. 28:14 et si hoc auditum fuerit a 14. And if this come to the governor's praeside nos suadebimus ei et securos ears, we will persuade him, and secure vos faciemus you. 28:15 at illi accepta pecunia fecerunt 15. So they took the money, and did as sicut erant docti et divulgatum est they were taught: and this saying is verbum istud apud Iudaeos usque in commonly reported among the Jews until hodiernum diem this day. 28:16 undecim autem discipuli abierunt 16. Then the eleven disciples went in Galilaeam in montem ubi constituerat away into Galilee, into a mountain illis Iesus where Jesus had appointed them. 28:17 et videntes eum adoraverunt 17. And when they saw him, they quidam autem dubitaverunt worshipped him: but some doubted. 28:18 et accedens Iesus locutus est eis 18. And Jesus came and spake unto dicens data est mihi omnis potestas in them, saying, All power is given unto caelo et in terra me in heaven and in earth. 28:19 euntes ergo docete omnes gentes 19. Go ye therefore, and teach all baptizantes eos in nomine Patris et nations, baptizing them in the name of Filii et Spiritus Sancti the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 28:20 docentes eos servare omnia 20. Teaching them to observe all quaecumque mandavi vobis et ecce ego things whatsoever I have commanded you: vobiscum sum omnibus diebus usque ad and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto consummationem saeculi the end of the world.
