After these things Paul departed venit Corinthum from Athens, and came to Corinth; 18:2 et inveniens quendam Iudaeum 2. And found a certain Jew named nomine Aquilam Ponticum genere qui Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come nuper venerat ab Italia et Priscillam from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; uxorem eius eo quod praecepisset (because that Claudius had commanded Claudius discedere omnes Iudaeos a Roma all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came accessit ad eos unto them. 18:3 et quia eiusdem erat artis 3. And he sailed from Ephesus. 18:22 et descendens Caesaream ascendit 22. And when he had landed at et salutavit ecclesiam et descendit Caesarea, and gone up, and saluted the Antiochiam church, he went down to Antioch. 18:23 et facto ibi aliquanto tempore 23. This man was instructed in the way fervens spiritu loquebatur et docebat of the Lord; and being fervent in the diligenter ea quae sunt Iesu sciens spirit, he spake and taught diligently tantum baptisma Iohannis the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. 18:26 hic ergo coepit fiducialiter 26. And he began to speak boldly in agere in synagoga quem cum audissent the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla et Aquila adsumpserunt eum et Priscilla had heard, they took him unto diligentius exposuerunt ei viam Dei them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly. 18:27 cum autem vellet ire Achaiam 27. And when he was disposed to pass exhortati fratres scripserunt into Achaia, the brethren wrote, discipulis ut susciperent eum qui cum exhorting the disciples to receive him: venisset contulit multum his qui who, when he was come, helped them much crediderant which had believed through grace: 18:28 vehementer enim Iudaeos 28.
