2:1 et cum conplerentur dies 1. And when the day of Pentecost was
pentecostes erant omnes pariter in fully come, they were all with one
eodem loco accord in one place.

2:2 et factus est repente de caelo 2. And suddenly there came a sound
sonus tamquam advenientis spiritus from heaven as of a rushing mighty
vehementis et replevit totam domum ubi wind, and it filled all the house where
erant sedentes they were sitting.

2:3 et apparuerunt illis dispertitae 3. And there appeared unto them cloven
linguae tamquam ignis seditque supra tongues like as of fire, and it sat

2:4 et repleti sunt omnes Spiritu 4. And they were all filled with the

prout Spiritus Sanctus dabat eloqui other tongues, as the Spirit gave them
illis utterance.

2:5 erant autem in Hierusalem 5. And there were dwelling at

omni natione quae sub caelo sunt every nation under heaven.

2:6 facta autem hac voce convenit 6. Now when this was noised abroad,
multitudo et mente confusa est quoniam the multitude came together, and were

2:7 stupebant autem omnes et 7. And they were all amazed and
mirabantur dicentes nonne omnes ecce marvelled, saying one to another,
isti qui loquuntur Galilaei sunt Behold, are not all these which speak

2:8 et quomodo nos audivimus 8. And how hear we every man in our
