Then said the high priest, Are haec ita se habent these things so? 7:2 qui ait viri fratres et patres 2. And he said, Men, brethren, and audite Deus gloriae apparuit patri fathers, hearken; The God of glory nostro Abraham cum esset in appeared unto our father Abraham, when Mesopotamiam priusquam moraretur in he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt Charram in Charran, 7:3 et dixit ad illum exi de terra tua 3. Then fled Moses at this saying, et factus est advena in terra Madiam and was a stranger in the land of ubi generavit filios duos Madian, where he begat two sons. 7:30 et expletis annis quadraginta 30. And when forty years were expired, apparuit illi in deserto montis Sina there appeared to him in the wilderness angelus in igne flammae rubi of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush. 7:31 Moses autem videns admiratus est 31. Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised cordibus et auribus vos semper Spiritui in heart and ears, ye do always resist Sancto resistitis sicut patres vestri the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so et vos do ye. 7:52 quem prophetarum non sunt 52. And they stoned Stephen, calling invocantem et dicentem Domine Iesu upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, suscipe spiritum meum receive my spirit. 7:59 positis autem genibus clamavit 60. And he kneeled down, and cried voce magna Domine ne statuas illis hoc with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this peccatum et cum hoc dixisset obdormivit sin to their charge.
